Join members of the Children's Rights Association for "Walk Now for Autism Speaks" at the Mall of America on Saturday, Oct. 13. There is a team registered under HUSL Children's Rights Association. There is no fee to participate in the walk, but donations will be accepted. Participants can register and collect donations online; donations may also be turned in at the time of the walk. This event helps families who have loved ones suffering from autism. Every 11 minutes, another family receives the devastating news that their child has an autism spectrum disorder.
Autism Speaks has grown into the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
