The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) invites graduate, undergraduate, and law faculty from across Hamline University to the Spring 2013 Faculty Development Day on Thursday, May 23 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Anderson Center.
The theme of this event is, "High-Impact Learning at Hamline: A Faculty Showcase." The day’s program will include six informative sessions covering each of the AAC&U's ten high-impact educational practices. More than twenty-five of your faculty colleagues will present at this event. Each session will include a panel of practitioners who will share their teaching experiences and suggested best practices. Several interactive activities will provide you with a list of possibilities and next steps for implementing new high-impact practice in your teaching.
We are very pleased to offer a hot breakfast and buffet lunch; to be fiscally responsible, we need to provide an accurate count to catering, so please be mindful of your RSVP. Fabulous prizes, including Apple iTunes gift cards and a few surprises, will also be given away during the event.
