BENEFIT FOR ELISE BROWN Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction
Saturday, July 31, 2010
4:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Hamline Methodist Church
The night before spring finals, Hamline 1L student Elise Brown suddenly took ill. Doctors diagnosed her with grade 3 brain cancer. Elise is currently undergoing a combination of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Her friends are working together to raise money for Elise's recovery process.
A benefit for Elise Brown will be held Saturday, July 31st from 4-9:30 p.m. at Hamline Methodist Church, which will include a spaghetti dinner and silent auction. Admission is a $10 donation, with all proceeds going directly to Elise.
Elise has touched so many of us at Hamline Law School, and we want to show our support for her as a community. Her determination, faith and hope are examples for all of us, and she truly exemplifies courage and grace. The Minnesota law community needs people of her intelligence, compassion and integrity. We hope that one day she will be able to join our community again.
