2001 Symposium: Intentional Conversations about Race, Mediation and Dispute Resolution
In 2001, DRI's fall symposium on advanced issues in dispute resolution addressed the challenges of attaining racial justice using privatized justice. The symposium was designed to push forward a much needed dialogue by bringing together scholars and professionals who accept the fundamental assumption that race is central to understanding the values, effects, and impacts of conflict resolution processes.
