That’s where Hamline Law’s Part-time Weekend JD comes in. 

Students in Hamline's part-time program – one of only two American Bar Association accredited weekend programs in the nation -- appreciate a flexible weekend format while learning from passionate professors who are experts in their fields.  They enjoy the close camaraderie that develops in the smaller weekend classes, plus  they receive all of the opportunities their fulltime Hamline Law classmates enjoy, like our nationally recognized Institutes; our renowned experiential learning, study abroad, and research opportunities; and a supportive, student-centered learning environment.

Earn your law degree in four years —  weekends only. 

Classes are taught Saturdays and Sundays during the day on our Saint Paul campus, and students typically graduate within four years.  All first year courses are taught by full-time Hamline law professors. And, of course, student services are available during the weekend (as well as during the week). In addition, our comprehensive Academic Success Program will give you the tools to succeed in law school.
