Celebrate 2007 by Making a Difference to the Hamline Community

DeanJonGaron_About

A Message from the Dean -

As 2007 comes to a close, I would like to take a moment to wish you peace and joy throughout the coming year. Your support for the Law School helps us make a difference in the education of our students and the success of our alumni. Hamline cannot succeed without your generosity and commitment; with it, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.

2007 truly has been a tremendous year for the Law School - we saw ever-impressive faculty scholarship; the graduation of our Class of 2007 and the matriculation of a great new community of 1Ls this past fall; and increasing alumni involvement in our signature events, from the January 2007 MidWinter Reception through last month's Dean's Dinner. New joint degree opportunities, certificate programs, and important programs continue to enrich our students and our legal community. I look forward to the new opportunities that await us in 2008.

We thank you for support of Hamline University School of Law this year, through your gifts of time, support of our events, and your charitable donations. Since the end of the calendar year is quickly approaching, I would like to reiterate the importance of your financial support, which helps the Law School to continue to make a meaningful difference in legal education. Please add Hamline to your end of year giving by visiting www.hamline.edu/law/give.html to give a gift online, or by dropping a check in the mail to:

Hamline University School of Law1536 Hewitt AveMS-D2005Saint Paul, MN 55104

Checks need to be postmarked on or before December 31, 2007, and received by January 4, 2008, to be counted this year.

Again, thank you for your continued support of our Law School and for making a difference in our community. If you have any questions about making a gift, please contact Susan Stephan any time at 651-523-2338 or by e-mail at sstephan01@hamline.edu.

Have a safe and happy New Year, and I look forward to seeing you at the 2008 MidWinter Reception at the Robins Kaplan firm on January 17.
