In this workshop Professor Howard Vogel will help students reflect on why they chose to enter the legal profession as well as on the challenge of maintaining a commitment to the ethical practice of law. A compelling dramatization of an argument to the court by Clarence Darrow, who some refer to as the greatest trial lawyer of the twentieth century, will provide the basis for this workshop.

Hamline Law Team will battle William Mitchell in the annual cup game! Tickets will be on sale Monday, March 15 thru Friday, March 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the law school basement. Tickets also on sale in the bookstore. Ticket price: $5.00. All proceeds will go to a yet-to-be-determined legal charity. Plum's Neighborhood Bar & Grill will host the victory celebration immediately following the game. Beverages will be discounted to law students who attend the game. Plums is located at 480 Snelling Avenue South, St. Paul, MN (corner of Randolph and Snelling Avenues).

Are you worried about repaying your student loans? You're probably not alone. The good news is that repayment can be manageable if you have a strategy for success. This interactive session focuses on the following elements in developing your own strategy and provides suggestions for loan repayment success:
-Understand your loan terms and conditions
-Know how much you have to repay and to whom
-Select the repayment plan that best achieves your goals given what you can afford to pay each month
-Take advantage of loan forgiveness programs when you qualify for them
-Keep good financial records
