    You will learn by doing.

Legal education at Hamline University School of Law is much more than a classroom experience. At Hamline, students learn the law in a variety of ways that have direct application to real practice. Our co-curricular activities include participation in competitions, externship placements, and pro bono clinics. These activities are designed to give students a practical approach to their legal education. Students also sharpen their writing skills in various national essay competitions, or participate in one of three law journals. Hamline's well regarded, comprehensive programs equip graduates with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the complex legal marketplace.
