HAMLINE LAW REVIEW

Invitation to Authors

The Board of Editors of the Hamline Law Review invites members of the bench, bar, and academic communities to submit articles on any area of law that may be of interest to the legal profession. The Hamline Law Review is published three times annually and is comprised of articles, notes, comments, and book reviews.

Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts should be submitted on a CD-rom or electronically. The document should be double-spaced, use one space after periods, and include footnotes generated by a word processor (i.e., not manually). Only one type of footnote numbering may be used; dedications or other information must be numbered as a normal footnote. Citation format must conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (18th ed. 2005).

Hamline Law Review uses Word 2007 for Microsoft Office XP in its publication process. Therefore, documents must be prepared using Microsoft Word. Please call to ascertain that a specific version of the above programs may be used.

Manuscript Review
All submissions will be reviewed for publication considering editorial limitations, publication schedules, and space availability. Authors will be notified of the Editorial Board’s decision regarding publication of their article as soon as possible. Accepted articles undergo extensive editorial and technical review prior to publication. Manuscripts submitted to Hamline Law Review will be returned only in the event of express request by the author(s).

Hamline Law Review will not publish material that has been committed for publication in another journal. Authors should promptly advise the Editorial Board when their work has been accepted elsewhere
