Dr. Bierman is the Fellow in Law and Policy at the Government Law Center at Albany Law School. For almost 10 years, Dr. Bierman worked at the American Bar Association, where he
was the architect of the ABA?s judicial independence project and the chief speechwriter and fundraiser for ABA presidents.Dr. Bierman earned his law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law of the College of William and Mary and his doctorate from the State University
of New York.
Deborah J. Cantrell
Ms. Cantrell is a clinical lecturer and the Director of the Arthur Liman Public Interest Program
at Yale Law School. She teaches in the areas of legal ethics, comparative ethics, and public interest law. Ms. Cantrell is a graduate of the University of Southern California Law School (Order of the Coif ) and holds a masters degree in developmental psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Peter L. Davis
Mr. Davis is an Associate Professor of Law at Touro Law School where he has taught Criminal Law and Procedure, the Criminal Law Clinic, Professional Responsibility, and Justice. Professor Davis previouslywas a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society in New York City and a Clinical Instructor at NYU Law School. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the New York University School of Law.
Howard Erichson
Mr. Erichson is a Professor of Law at Seton Hall Law School, where he teaches Civil Procedure, Complex Litigation, Professional Responsibility, and Torts. He has published widely
on the topics of procedure and ethics, particularly as they relate to mass torts and other complex litigation. He graduated from Harvard University and from the New York University School of Law.
Daisy Hurst Floyd
Ms. Floyd is Dean and Professor of Law at Mercer University?s Walter F.George School of Law. She was named a Carnegie Scholar by The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching in 2001. Her research focused on the development of professional identity in law students. She received a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from Emory University and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.
Russell G. Pearce
Mr. Pearce is the Edward and Marilyn Bellet Professor of Legal Ethics,Morality and Religion at
Fordham University School of Law. He teaches,writes, and lectures in the field of professional responsibility. Previously he has worked as a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society and General Counsel to the New York City Commission on Human Rights. He is a graduate of Yale Law School.
Susan Hayes Stephan
Ms. Stephan serves as Director of Alumni Relations, Annual Fund Development Officer,
and Adjunct Professor at Hamline University School of Law. Prior to joining the staff at Hamline,
Stephan litigated civil matters most recently with the law firm of Lommen, Abdo, Cole, King & Stageberg, P.A. She received her B.S. from Northwestern University and is a 1992 graduate of Hamline University School of Law.
Robert A. Stein
Mr. Stein is the Everett Fraser Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota. He previously
was the Dean of the University of Minnesota Law School and has also served as the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the American Bar Association. Professor Stein received his B.S.L. degree and J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota.
