A core group of Hamline law faculty members focus on health law courses, including professors Stacey Tovino, Michael Scherschligt, Jonathan Kahn and Health Law Institute Director, Lucinda Jesson. These faculty members are experienced and respected in the health law arena and are working to significantly expand the Health Law Institute through significant scholarship in health law and related fields, symposium programs, specialized practical training, lawyer education and legal clinics and practicums.
In addition, faculty members in fields related to health law provide additional courses and experiential learning opportunities. These faculty include Professor Larry Bakken in administrative law; Dean Jon Garon and Professor Sharon Sandeen in Intellectual Property; and Professor Angela McCaffrey, who directs all of Hamline’s law clinics.
