Health Law Institute at Hamline

Established in 2006, the Health Law Institute at Hamline University School of Law offers a comprehensive health law curriculum and a variety of professional development opportunities to students and the health law community.  As a leader in the health law field, our cutting-edge legal education prepares current and future health lawyers to be effective, efficient, and informed.

Health Law students learn from professors and practitioners who offer a variety of learning experiences ranging from the courtroom to the boardroom.  Clinicals, practicums, and other externship opportunities enable students to gain real world experience while encouraging exploration of the field.

The Health Law Institute is emerging as a major hub for the region's health law community.  Through the Institute's national speaker series and professional development workshops, we provide a forum for addressing health law and policy issues, developing scholarship, and exploring ways health care and law can create effective partnerships.
