Peter Hofrenning is an Associate General Counsel at HealthPartners, Inc., an integrated health care system comprising medical clinics, health plans and hospitals. He provides advice on a wide variety of health law issues. Previously, Hofrenning was a Principal Attorney at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota for five years and an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Minnesota for seven years. At the Attorney General's Office, Hofrenning counseled state agencies and litigated antitrust and medicaid financing cases at the Minnesota Supreme Court and in lower courts. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Hamline University School of Law since 2006, and currently teaches the Health Law Practicum.
