Hamline Takes Top Honors in Int'l Commercial Arbitration Moot

Hamline University School of Law placed first in the "Willem C. Vis Moot" International Commercial Arbitration Pre-Moot competition in Chicago on March 14-15. In addition, Hamline law student John Thiede won "Best Oralist" and student "John Edison" was named the "Second Best Oralist." The students will next travel to the related competitions in Hong Kong and Vienna, with Doug Edelstein and John Edison going to Hong Kong and Ann Johnson and John Thiede going to Vienna. They are coached by Hamline Law Professor Joseph L. Daly and three student coaches--all of whom competed last year--Neda Shahghasemi, Emily Sipiorski and Jared Kemper.
