Not every student finds poetic inspiration from the rigors of law school, but Hamline law student Laura Moore did just that. She participated in a poetry and grammar competition sponsored by the Legal Research and Writing program. Her winning Haiku was selected by Dean Lewis:
Papers, exams, grades
Stress is my new companion
Hope is my old friend
