Professor Mills is Law Library Director and an Associate Professor at Hamline University School of Law. She brings more than 18 years of law library experience to Hamline. After graduating from Columbia University School of Law in 1983, she worked as a legal editor at Prentice-Hall in New Jersey and with West in New York. Her first job as a reference librarian, after graduating from Queens College, was at CUNY Law School. She continued her career as a librarian at Boalt Hall in Berkeley, CA, and at libraries in North Carolina, Nevada and Florida. Most recently, she served as the law library director at Florida A&M University College of Law. Professor Mills has taught courses in legal reseach and advanced legal research. She has been an active adult volunteer with several Girl Scout councils, Alpha Kappa Alpha and with Leadership Orlando.
Professor Mills teaches Advanced Legal Research and works with Hamline's Legal Writing professors on Legal Research & Writing.
