Marlene Garvis is a partner at Jardine, Logan & O'Brien P.L.L.P. in St. Paul, specializing in litigation surrounding employment law, product liability, health law and professional liability.  She regularly counsels clients in issues related to human resources, health care practices, patient care and health care plans.  Ms. Garvis previously served as president of the Hennepin County Bar association in 2006.  She has authored numerous articles on malpractice and employment issues in legal, nursing and medical publications and clinical nursing journals.  Ms. Garvis is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and Hamline University School of Law, teaching medical malpractice.
