Instructor Holst joined the faculty after practicing for a general practice firm in Rochester, Minnesota.  Prior to joining Hamline University School of Law faculty, she taught legal research and writing at the University of Minnesota School of Law. 

In addition to teaching legal research and writing, Instructor Holst serves on the board of directors for a non-profit legal services organization in Southeastern Minnesota, providing pro bono legal services.  Additionally, she has served as an Assistant Editor for Legal Writing: The Journal of the Legal Writing Institute.

Instructor Holst joined the Hamline University School of Law faculty in 2007, teaching legal research and writing courses.
