The generous support of this year's tournament sponsors and participants resulted in the awarding of four $3,000 Alumni Association Scholarships to four deserving students- Brian Rochel, Amy Schwarz, Jada Lewis, and Lyndsay Capeder. Congratulations to them for this great honor!
It's never too soon to plan for next year's 14th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament, which is set to take place on June 1, 2010. Save the date now! We hope to see you there!
2008 Alumni Golf Tournament Scores Big
A few raindrops (and the occasional clap of thunder) did not dampen the spirits of alumni, faculty and staff who gathered on Tuesday, June 3 at the Prestwick Golf Course in Woodbury for the 12th Annual Law Alumni Golf Tournament. There was plenty of fun, camaraderie and, of course, a few winners. Thanks to our generous sponsors and participants, the tournament raised $12,500 toward the Alumni Association Golf Scholarship Fund.
A special thank you goes out to Paul Peterson `89 who served as master of the awards ceremony, and to the law firm of Harper & Peterson P.L.L.C. (and founding members Bill Harper `77 and Paul Peterson `89) for contributing as the tournament's underwriting sponsors again this year.
