Professor Pielemeier teaches Civil Procedure, Conflict of Laws and Mass Media Law.
Prior to joining the faculty, Pielemeier was in private practice with Dorsey & Whitney, specializing in civil litigation. He has worked with the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and was a visiting professor at Indiana University School of Law and lectured in Japan.
Professor Pielemeier has published extensively in the areas of civil procedure and conflict of laws. While in law school, he was elected to the academic honor society Order of the Coif and served as associate editor of the Indiana Law Journal. He has served on a variety of committees that are addressing the issues of technology, teaching, and the law.
