Susan Stephan worked as a transactional attorney and a litigator for eight years before joining Hamline University School of Law as an adjunct faculty member in 2001. She currently teaches courses in antitrust, law and economics, workers' compensation, law & popular culture, and deposition practice. She also served as director of alumni relations for Hamline University School of Law for five years.
